
Through Eat with U.S. international students are matched with residents in the Titusville area to enjoy a casual dinner together. Eat with U.S. is a volunteer program for the purpose of welcoming international students to our community and to foster cultural exchange.

Who can participate?
International Students: All international students at Bristow Academy are invited to participate.
Hosts: Hosts are local Titusville area residents who would like to welcome an international student into their home for a meal. Any resident interested in helping others and learning about other cultures is welcome to participate.
What are my responsibilities?
International students: Students are expected to be respectful and gracious guests. Be willing to try new things and enthusiastically participate in the time spent with your host. Participation in Eat with U.S. is voluntary and your meal is provided free of charge.
Hosts: Prepare a meal of your choosing and provide a warm and welcoming environment for the student(s) joining you for dinner. After a match is made you are expected to contact your student(s) within a timely manner to arrange a date and time for the meal and transportation if necessary. Participation in Eat with U.S. is voluntary, thus there are no payments or reimbursement of costs made by Bristow Academy or our student(s).
How do you match students and hosts?
International students: When registering for Eat with U.S. you will have the opportunity to select your preferences on whether or not you are comfortable with pets, need transportation, how many family members or friends you would like to bring with you, any special dietary needs, etc. You will be matched with a host based on your interests and needs.
Hosts: When registering for Eat with U.S. you will be asked several questions including whether you have pets, how many students you are willing to host, if you are able to accommodate specific dietary needs, etc. You will be matched with a student based on your interests and needs. If you are not able to accept a particular match due to scheduling you are welcome to remain on the call list and will be contacted again.
How often can I participate?
International students: Students are welcome to participate in as many dinners as they like however priority will be given to students who most recently arrived in the United States.
Hosts: Hosts are initially registered for one dinner, however are welcome to remain in the program as long as is desired.
How can I sign up?
International students: Complete the Student Sign-Up Form and send to Anisha Hopkinson or drop off in Student Services.
